BE READY

Today at Allamano Seminary-Morogoro Allamano Seminary community, Consolata Sisters community from Mkundi Morogoro, and Allamano Seminary Community from Mkundi had the Requiem Mass for Pd. Saltaris Lello Massawe. The Mass was presided over by Pd. Isaac Mbuba who was accompanied by Pd. Jude Katende, Pd. William Mkalula and Pd. Hipolito Marandu. During the Homily Pd. Mbuba reminded us about the Pd. Massawe, the places he had worked and about his good missionary work. He also said that what could be the message from Pd. Mawaswe's death? The message is simple and clear BE READY! He said we have to ready at all times as Jesus said for we know neither the day nor the hour when our soul will return to the GREAT ONE. Pd. has gone, who will follow next? Is me, or YOU? Are you ready or Am I ready. Am I ready to leave this world? Am I prepared?

SAD NEWS

NEWS FROM TANZANIA OCTOBER 26, 2012: Rev. Fr. SALUTARIS MASSAWE, IMC

Dear Confreres and People of God, yesterday October 25, 2012 all the IMC continental superiors went for outing. Unfortunately, Fr. Lelo Massawe Salutaris, the Regional Superior of Tanzania went missing. He was drown. This morning, October 26, 2012 they found the body. May the Lord give him Eternal Rest. For his family of origin and the entire IMC region of Tanzania, we convey our Condolences and pray God to keep on looking after them. God bless!
